New hotspot in the green heart of Antwerp!

Updated: Dec 14, 2021

On Friday 19 November, Mercure Antwerp City Centre opened the completely renovated hotel with its 128 rooms, 4 meeting rooms for events up to 100 people and its brand-new restaurant Lunet. Mercure used 'the Antwerp Six' as a source of inspiration for the Interior design of the hotel. From arrival to departure, a stay is completely devoted to these designers and the fashion history of Antwerp. The hallways look like catwalks and the rooms feel like a model's lodge.

Guests are not only immersed into the fashion world, but also enjoy comfort and culinary delights, inspired by nature. Lunet offers a modern and seasonal cuisine, full of Mediterranean and Asian accents, creative twists, discoveries, and surprises.

Local, nature and passion are the driving forces behind the restaurant. In addition, Lunet uses these three forces to bring the triangular shape of the City Park into their restaurant. They only work with fresh products to leave a minimal footprint and waste.

All this at a great location, with the fashion district, the central station, and the city park just a stone's throw away. In short, a new hotspot in the city!
